Hi, and welcome to my blog. Firstly,  thank you so much for visiting and checking it out.

As a lot of you would know, I have created this blog as a requirement for the ACCT11059 class. Really excited on where this journey of online communication will take me. 

​

I believe that online communication has become more of a dominant way of communicating since the Global pandemic - Covid. Just one example as to where I had experienced this first hand, was going to the doctors. Going online to talk to my doctor face to face was a new experience for me. 

However, I am extremely grateful that the ACCT11059 has incorporated online communication within their unit. 

​

Went a little off topic there, so, here is a little bit about myself. 

​

My name is Maddy, I live on cattle station 60km from a small country town 'Alpha' in Central Western Queensland. Here is where my partner and I live. Currently he is doing all the hard work, while I am inside studying. 

In the afternoons I like to ride our horses. Keep them in shape for the upcoming mustering rounds and camp drafting season.

Photography is also a passion of mine. I still have a lot to learn within photography, however I am so incredibly lucky to have such amazing backdrops and topics to focus my lens on.

I chose to do a Bachelor of an Accounting degree, as I am passionate about figures and the way the bookkeeping system works. I also believe it is a universal degree to be able to have. Simply for the fact that businesses are everywhere. Even in a small country town like 'Alpha', there are businesses wherever you look. 

​

I am looking forward to meeting more of this class and being able to become a team and work towards a great goal of learning the ins and outs of this accounting degree.
